Hi,

I am looking for a 05-06 G35 Sedan 6MT but I fear my first choice of exterior and interior color was never available. I would love dark blue over black.

Has anyone seen this combination or know it to not have been available?

Athens blue was available in 05/06/07 but I think TB was 03/04 only. Vivek, wanna correct me on that?

I think they both came with graphite, if not it was stone.

 

Tb was available through 05... then discontinued.... Its rare but they are out there

TB was available in 06, not sure about 6mt

 

I have seen the darker blue colors on the 6MT, but that is not really the issue.

Even in the AT cars, the darker blue colors come with Wheat or Stone (mostly Wheat/tan wheel).

The lighter blue (which I do not care for) did come with graphite (black) interior.

I was wondering if anyone had ever seen a dark (the Navy shade) blue, that came with a black interior.

I have seen all exterior colors on both AT and 6MT cars.

Thanks, that is good to know. So the dark blue in 2005 came with graphite. I wonder if anyone has Athens Blue Pearl Metallic with graphite interior.

I guess these are rare, but is there a repository of sales data that shows how many of each color was produced?

David, can you provide pictures? Because Twilight Blue was not available with a Graphite interior in 2005. Only Stone or Wheat. And Athens Blue was only available on the Coupe in 2006, not on an AWD.

OP, trust me on this. Or trust the multiple resources I looked through on this when I was buying. The dealership also confirmed it. I wanted a TB with Graphite when I bought my car. I strongly considered a 2004 because I could get this color combo and couldn't in a 2005. You also couldn't get Lakeshore Slate with Graphite. In the end, I wanted a 2005 with a Graphite interior, so my exterior color options didn't include either of the blues.

 

Somewhere I have a 2006 brochure, but can't find it. I have a 2006 6mt sedan in Twilight Blue, but with wheat interior. A friend had an 2006 M45 with Twilight Blue and Graphite though.

 

The M came with some really nice interior options that I wish the G did. Like that Cordoba Brownish interior. That would be kick butt on IP or OB. Or even TB for that matter.

 

I think only coupes come in athens blue and not sedans.

 

im pretty sure the black (charcoal) interior was only offered with Black Obsidian, Garnet fire, liquid platinum, and diamond graphite.

 

Except davidxu ^ said he has an '06 X with TB and Graphite.
