Hi all,

I think I am missing about 3 or 4 of those 10mm bolts on the splash shield underneath. It's been missing for a while (most likely when the dealers did the oil change). I do the oil changes myself now. Where can I get replacements? OEM or Ebay...etc

Home depot, bring one of the bolts with you and match up.

 

Haha...I guess I can do that too. Somebody out there gotta be selling it because I bet most of us here are missing a couple bolts here and there.

 

I bought 10 or so with washers and such for $3 at the local hardware store , price was kinda high for that little bit but im sure it beets the dealers price

 

Shoot...I am losing my memory. Did the OEM ones even came with washer?

 

They have a washer type thing built into the head of the bolt.

Just take one off and try find one thats close to the same length

find a washer that is close

I have so many mix matched bolts on that damn thing... I need to replace them all (and the pan)

 

They are 6mm by 1.0 pitch. Common size that will be found all over most cars today. It has a washer built on to it and a phillips head also. If you replace make sure you get something with a coating otherwise they will rust

Since the stock bolts are fine thread and WAY longer than you need to hold the pan on, get something shorter and save yourself some trouble when removing/replacing them.

 

Looks like I'm going to be ahead of you on a mod this time ( for a change )

My aluminum pan will be at the shop in the next couple days.
