Got my new G!!

I've been waiting since the G came out to get the car, but I was buying a house so i wanted to wait until we moved into our house. Finally, I have my new G... Brillant Silver, Auto, Sunroof.

Unfortunately when i went to pick it up, it was snowing like crazy here (Syracuse, NY).. So i didn't get to test my car out much, just brought it home and quickly tucked her into the garage..

To make the night even more exciting, Syracuse won the ncaa championship! What a night..

Re: Got my new G!!

Hello Cmpterman2,
Thank you for your business by the way on the G35 Sedan. I am glad that we were able to get you what you wanted and if you need me in the future for anything, dont hesitate to call me, you have the number of course. So now that the snow has gone down, have you had a chance to go out and tear up the roads or what. I would really love to know your real experiences with your new car as I know it is your first. As I am sure the other readers here would love to know as well . Enjoy the ride and God Speed. T. Fox

P.S. By the way, the night was very enjoyable with SU winning the tourney, it puts us on the map for a long time to come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Got my new G!!

speedproduction,

Thanks for checkin up.. I haven't had the chance to take the car out much, besides heading to work. Hopefully weather will be nice this weekend and i'll be able to get out some more. I still have to show it off to my friends/family.

So far i've very happy with the car ;-) Thanks for the pleasurable buying experience..

Re: Got my new G!!

Hope you get a chance soon to enjoy it! I got mine on Friday night & I HAD to get it on the road ASAP. Luckily, we only had rain where I live here in N. California. Tooled down to Carmel on Saturday, saw a white & a silver G35 on the way down. Had some pretty severe sporadic downpours, it handles great in the rain, just hugs the road. Mine came with the sport suspension and Goodyeat Eagle GTs, never felt a car handle so well. I'm still in the break-in period so didn't push it too much (of course there was that straighaway on the San Mateo Bridge...). Came home up Hwy 1 along the coast - a great curvy road and it was great! Had fun with the Navi - we wanted to go on Hwy 1 up the coast, but "Miss Infiniti" kept wanting us to make a u-turn or take a left at each intersection (I assume to go around the block to head in the other direction) to get us on Hwy 17. Knowing the traffic on a Saturday night, the coast was definitely the better route than 17 over the Santa Cruz Mountains to the traffic in San Jose. Eventually, she re-routed herself and gave us directions home to San Leandro on the route we were taking through Half Moon Bay -- but we found it amusing at first, then a little annoying. I'm hoping once I learn to play with the Navi a bit more the "problem" can be overcome. Anyway...now I got the car dirty, so this afternoon it's my first washing.

"Wherever you go, there you are --only faster in my G35!"
