Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus
I know some people pay more for tires, but it has been a while since I bought tires and I just paid $1000 for 4 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires 235/45/18.
Anyone on this forum have these....any issues. They should be delivered by Wednesday.... They come with a 45,000 mile warranty.....not bad for a Z rated tire. We will see how they hold up

Conti DWS are cheaper and very good A/S as well, I just ordered them 245/45R18 they are Y rated with a 50k/72 month warranty(even wear)

Oh and I paid 720 shipped, The price went up on them
, they used to be 141 per tire in 245/45 now they are 163! Thats what happens when a tire get popular. Lots of places are out of stock of them, and if they are then its 6-8 weeks till they get more!

Ya that is cause people realizing that they are good tires and are buying them more. Also We (Discount Tire and Conti) are offering a free GPS system with the purchase of a set of tire of over $499. Just to let you know. LOL
^ Every place is doing that pfft ha, "while supplies last" well the deal is ending in 30 min on tirerack, well they will prob extend it since it was 4/1 before ha.
I just cant wait to get my wet driving confidence back! Just changing lanes and giving it some gas makes the back end kick out! On highways I have to drive very carefully, I also some times get the floating feeling on the front of the car :O

I asked the store what the best tire was and he directed me to the Michelin.... I hope he is right. I def want a quite smooth ride. I live in AZ and do not need good rain/snow tires. I feel more comfortable spending more for a premium product. My only concern is that it is all hype in their marketing. How do you truly know if they are better than another brand.???
