Will the REAL Wald Kit Please Stand up ?!

So, Ive been trying to source out the best deal on an authentic Wald kit, and contacted them directly from their website.

Jonari corp, which they say are the sole distributor for Wald in North America, emails me back, and points me to a local dealer here in the GVA.

They quote me some ridiculas price of upwards of $3000.00, Surely this cant be correct, not for a lip kit, even the local rep didnt believe it so, he double checked with Jonari, and sure enough, they say that is correct.

I tell them about Intense, pricing ( http://www.intensepower.com/wabokitg35se.html) as well as other similar pricing from other sites, or claims from other buyers.. Apparently Jonari is claiming theyve been getting alot of calls lately on regarding intense's price, and how its incorrect, and that they are not even buying from them...

.. So does ANYONE out there, know the truth in this matter, or better yet, just point me in a direction of a reputable dealer that sells the authentic WALD kit.. .. (no WIZE copies) but at this $1500 +/- price I keep reading about.

TIA

EDIT: I just contacted Intense Power to find out if their price is still current, Waiting on a reply.

authentic anything = $$$

i believe the 3k price tag..

retail of a brabus kit is like 10k+

1500 is waaay too low for a authentic full kit regardless if its a lip kit. heck, 1500 wont even cut most authentic front bumper costs from most companies.

I quite like it, its clean. the only other kits that I like, are the Nismo, which is discontinued, and the Sportec which is near impossible to get if even still obtainable.

I considered running a Nismo copy, but i dont think a full fiberglass front will last very long with how low Im at now, and plan to go even lower.

at least the authentic Wald kit is FRP (Fiberglass re-enforced plastic).. I had a full Run Free FRP kit on my AE86, and was quite happy with the flexibility in it.

Thinking about the limited aero options, especially in poly, or FRP for the sedan makes me sad =(

authentic or not, i think getting the wald kit to fit right would take some work. i might be wrong though, but yes, wald will burn holes through your pockets.

Hope you can find what you're looking for. I really like the WALD kit on a VIP styled G.

Any authentic kit is expensive. The 3k seems about right, why do you think 95% of the people buy replica kits. The only thing authentic you normally see is what comes from the factory.

$2300 from intense, authentic, 6-8 weeks wait, from Wald Japan.

and thats $2300 for the Front, Rear, Sides, AND Lip wing.

SO not quite sure what Jonari is thinking.

Even if you do get the authentic kit, you will need to cut and extend the rear lip, because on the JDM Nissan 350gt sedan the rear bumper is shorter (aka "jdm short bumper") then the USDM infiniti g35 sedan

jdm rear vs. usdm rear (best i could find)

as for the wald kit i think it looks really good and flows great with the car, i dont have the real wald kit, i have the vis wize kit witch is the knock off. it didnt cost me much but dont remember how much because it was almost 3 years ago.

my old set up
