OUCH!

My dad owns a body shop and they got this 04 G in yesterday. The women driving ended up with a sore back and he husband who was the passenger walked away with no injuries. SHe was broadsided by someone running a stop sign and then spun around and hit a truck. Total of course. I have a few more pics if interested in seeing them.

Re: OUCH!

Ouch that does hurt. I always like to see bashed up pictures of our cars just to see how well they faired in the accident

Re: OUCH!

Impressed with the inside shot.
Everything held up quite well, I was thinking at least the dash would have been closer to seats or something.

Anyone knows G35's safety rating by ? I will say Good if not Excellent.

Re: OUCH!

Wow, that is a major accident. Luckily the driver and passenger got away without a serious injury.

Re: OUCH!

Umm from the looks of the accident inside, it looks like my legs would have been pinned in between the sterring wheel column and the seat, is it an illusion or is there like an inch of space there?

Re: OUCH!

I was thinking the same thing, there’s not a lot of room between the seat and the steering wheel, plus, it looks like the center console may have moved some. Look at it on the left side of the picture, just behind the cup holder. It looks like it’s been pushed backwards and up a little, maybe that’s an indicator that the dash did move some. It’s just a thought though.

Re: OUCH!

The floor was buckled pretty good. Also the engine pushed a bit through the firewall. The shift if you can notice is off about 6 or more inches to the right and points down a bit. I think the lady may have been small and that is why the seat looks closer. I went and checked it out today (my sister emailed the pictures) and was pretty surprised at how well the cab itself held up. I'll try and get better pics before the insurance company takes it back...might already be gone.
