quick question

i have an 04 g35x and just picked up a midpipe from a coupe. the guy i bought it from also gave me the y pipe. can i even use the y pipe (does it acutally fit) or should i just keep it the same?

what year was the coupe?
the y pipes are usually the same so it wont be any point, except for the the HR y pipe
