Cool Rimzz :)

I have a 2004 sedan.....
its a bit of a champagne color, got the spoiler, no mods or anything.

i'm 16, my parents don't really want me putting performance parts in it
after I tint my windows I'm going for rims, less than 20 inchers though..

I cant decide what I should get...
I was thinking like... black, with a chrome outlining where the rim meets the tire.
Any suggestions?
And also... I want something that will make my engine sound a bit tougher, but not a muffler. and not too expensive
I have no idea where to buy stuff from either!!
im a noob.

thanks

use the search button. you will find tons of info. get a ztube, that makes the motor sounds a LOT better. its just the oem intake tube from a 350z. doesnt have any of the baffles on it like our stock ones do. i beleive wannabe6mt is selling one right now in the market place for 65.

as for rims.. what size were you thinking? 18s look way to small on the sedan just a heads up. and if you put 19s or 20s on there you are going to need a drop otherwise it will look terrible.

coupe 19s then get a mild drop--i should b droping mine this weekend with 350z suspension ,best lookin wheels imo besides the g37s or m45 .....coupe 18s are also very nice but only 18s

oem wheels ftw they wont crack like aftermarket and go perfect lookswise ,also they are design for our cars

Another thing you can do for a better sound is a coupe midpipe. (type that in the search, you'll see what I mean)

Read this thread when you get a chance. Just don't let your parents catch you doing it because it will give you all kinds of ideas on where to blow your money. That's the thing about the mod bug; once it bites you'll have a hard time stopping the mod-itis.

So as far as rims go, I think I'm going to go for 19's or 20's in gunmetal, and drop
and I am also considering getting overlays for my taillights. I want a luxury/sport/rice mix. lol

19s look good, but you'll need a drop... Z springs atleast.
20s look really good, and you can probably find a set about as cheap as 19's depending on the wheel you go with, plus tires will be about the same, only problem is you really need to be very low to run 20s and have them look good.
