I apologize if this post is inappropriate, but technically, I am not trying to sell my car. Well, not in this post at least.

I am wondering how feasible it would be to trade my 6MT Sedan for somebody else's (read: your) 5AT Sedan. I know 6MTs are more rare and probably sought after, so I might have a good chance finding interest.

My wife does not know how to drive a manual, and the car is proving to be impractical at this point. If I cannot find someone to trade with, I will sell it the old-fashioned way.

Ooh, too bad you didn't catch me earlier. A few weeks ago I traded my 5AT for a 6MT. You may want to shop around a bit - I got $4K off bluebook for it, though I took a hit on trade-in. Still, I got a really good deal.

Have you expressed to your wife how fun a manual can be? It's not too hard to learn. Hate to see you give it up. Auto just isn't the same.
