Cammed Sedan?

I was just wondering, has anyone here cammed their sedan and what did it sound like?

Hotdawwgman Jun 14, 2010 01:52 AM

i sort of want cams but it seems like a ton of work...there is probably more info about cams on the the 350z forums

Gnightsedan Jun 14, 2010 10:43 AM

prolly sounds the same as a cammed 350z ;)

I was just looking at youtube and pretty much anything with cams sounded sick and i noticed not a lot of people on here have them and i was wondering why?

I was looking around youtube for a cammed g35 and there were NONE.

i think the install is rather difficult and G35 drivers seem to be more worried about getting heavy rims and cutting their mufflers off

also thay are fairly pricey, probably better to just get some boost

Hey man taking off the muffler sounds sick, but so would a cammed G.

Hammerhead i-Eagle Thrust Jun 14, 2010 01:32 PM

i took mine off to prove a point to someone, it does sounds cool at wot but its annoying as hell to drive around with

^You had cams installed and then removed them? How much power did you gain?

Bestswat Jun 14, 2010 01:36 PM

You will benefit more if you pair up cams with headers.

Hammerhead i-Eagle Thrust Jun 14, 2010 01:36 PM

we were talking about muffler delete, not removing cams..lol

CandlestickPark Jun 14, 2010 01:56 PM

^Oh, LOL. I thought that it would have been a ton of work to install and then remove cams.

Hammerhead i-Eagle Thrust Jun 14, 2010 02:18 PM

yes...for sure lol

alexh521 Jun 14, 2010 04:31 PM

is it hard to install on all cars or does it vary from car to car? Are cams what give cars that gurgle or rumbling sound?
