Cold Air Intake Installation

I just got an Injen cold air intake and the instructions say I have to remove the whole bumper...tell me I'm dreaming please. I don't want to do all that work. Can someone clarify this for me.

that's the best way to do it the way the instructions tell you i know some people that try to ghetto it and ended up scratching up there new intake

injen intake is not that cheap i don't think you want to scratch it all up

its really not that hard to do looks like a lot of work to do but its not

where do you live? maybe you can find a member to help you out with it or pay a member on here to install it for you

always find a local shop to install it too

good luck

There are step by step instructions literallly EVERYWHERE that tell you exaclty how to remove the bumper properly. It DOES not take alot of time and if you were willing to spend that much money on an injen intake then I suggest that you follow the instructions.

Unless you want to find a local shop to install it for you, but that would be a waste of money for a simple thing that you can do yourself.

Don't be lazy! Just do it!

Yeah, our front bumper is actually quite easy to get off... and once you do it, you can do it in half the time if you ever need to in the future.

I have a pop charger but on most cars you can just take the tire off and pull back the inner tire well (the plastic part) and have someone feed it to you.

sounds like a lot of work for a mod that adds very little, if any, benefit over the stock air intake system. you could save a lot of time and money by just going with a rev-up airbox, Ztube & drop in. spend the money on useful mods like suspension or brakes, or a spacer.

the full length injen cai i have on my car also. it sounds so much better than the short ram. on the rookie bumper, it sits perfect. i didnt have to cut anything at all. plus, direct air flow right where i want it. but... bad for car wash... i always block it before washing it.

Gotta +1 this guys. If an intake is going to be THAT much of a pain, it had better perform that much better than the rest. IMHO, I don't see it here.
