Does anyone know if the brakes on the '05s will be two piston calipers in the front and single in the rear? Or will it be the same as now with single pistons front and rear? I know the rotors are going to be bigger and thus a larger caliper.

Front: 12.6-inch X 1.1-inch power-assisted vented disc

Rear: 12.1-inch X .63-inch power-assisted vented disc

Perhaps this could be a cheaper way for us '03s and '04s to get a relatively cheaper brake upgrade with bigger rotors and perhaps a two piston system for the fronts.

Do the '05 brakes require wheels larger than 17"?

Hopefully the '05 front calipers will use two pistons since they seem to be "Brembo" style.

That's a good question although I think 17's will be just fine. A lot of 17's can fit with the 13" Stoptech kits, just as long as there is enough spoke clearance.
