Help! Looking for Toronto Shop w/ Code Reader for 2005 G35X

Hey all, my airbag warning light came on and flashes everytime I drive. I've found instructions to reset the airbag light myself in the archives of G35driver and it did work but the airbag light would always come back on by itself after 15 minutes.

I guess I need to go to a shop that can find out what's wrong but I do not wish to go to an Infiniti dealership.

They charge you $118 just to get the damn code and then they will charge me extra to repair it.

Does anyone know of a shop that has a code reader for an Infiniti 2005 G35x?
I am not just looking for a code but if they can repair it then that would be great. I am mainly looking for the code in case the parts are covered under warranty.

My airbag warranty is up by this October but I am afraid that the dealership will charge me extra for other things and rip me off.

Please let me know

Thanks again for your time

I can tell you this, a generic reader won't read / reset the Airbag light. I have a ODB II cable for my laptop and it can clear and read the engine and other sensors but not the air bag one.

thats how they do things... if you can find a place that is nissan SPECIFIC they can. But dealership will be quick, pull the code quote you price on airbag and order it up.

this will be the same for ABS and if you ever get a AWD fault.
