the mercedes S600 that my friend has has amber accent lighting all along the dash and door panels inside the car and under the seats that give it a real luxury feel. Maybe that's what the OP is trying to emulate. I'll take a couple pics of my door pulls wrapped in suede tomorrow. I paid 40 bucks to get em wrapped

Of course you could replicate it. Just need to step up your paint skills. I did marble before and Im sure if you search the net you will find a technique that will be close to that.

That would actually be a very easy DIY... but IMO it needs something else inside the car to match, Like if all the darker brown color (on the wheat interior) were covered with the same stuff.
