Your gas light just came on, are you still driving? Might wanna head to the nearest gas station.

the gas light is often referred to as an IDIOT light.

on most cars its about 1-2.5 gallons left in the tank, times that buy your average MPG will give you an idea. most cases 30-50miles is a good rule of thumb.

at the bottom of your fuel tank there is sediment and if you drive until you run out of gas some of that sediment will go into your fuel filter

BTW where is our fuel filter?

I've driven about 50-60 miles on it on rare occasions, when I didn't have cash on me or any credit cards. But it's definitely not good. I try not to even let it get to 1/4 of a tank. I've also filled up the tank as soon as I have seen the light come on and it filled up 17.xx gallons, sometimes in the 16.xx range. So it it's roughly 2-3 gallons.
