^ duraflex is fiberglass with some coating on it, it's not nearly as flexible as they say it is.

And what bumper comes in that?

Is your front taking a beating? I layed more fiberglass on the bottom of my nismo and it feels a lot more sturdy. You might want to try that if you havent already.

Poly KuRookie would be great. Fiberglass is a terrible material to be making bumpers out of, the paint chips off of them too easily. And because of their inflexability they don't fit 100% either. It's all around a fail material, but I like the way my KuRookie looks so I keep it on.

fiberglass is fixable . big advantage. I would love a poly rear for the sedans though... the bench is lame.

+1 I'm glad I have fiberglass. Just gotta be more careful, that's all. FG isn't non-flexible, it can flex, but the give it has is not comparable to poly. If I didn't have an FG bumper, I would never have been able to get my bumper fixed. The way it cracked too, poly wouldn't have survived.

Theres posative side and negative sides to both FG and Poly its pick your poison. Ive been toying around at the idea of making a poly bumper, but it kinda fizzled out when work picked back up.

Make a shaved Nismo poly and I'll buy one. Hell, I'm trying to buy a regular Nismo so I can make molds of it and it's tough enough trying to find one in the Midwest.

The flexibility of poly is nice and all, but really, if anything flexes the bumper hard enough to damage FG, the paint is history anyway (even if the bumper were poly) so in some ways, it's not really that much of an issue.
Well not to me anyway... granted I'm not scraping the ground though :/

it's not instant impact it's dragging. You can pull poly pretty hard before cracking the paint, poly handles the shock of an impact way better.

Poly is like throwing rubber at rubber.

Fiberglass is like throwing ceramic at a brick wall.
