mouse invaded g35

Does the 03 sedans supposed to have a grill or some kinda of screen to protect the air cabin filter or is it just 1 big hole near the battery? Reason I am asking is because while taking my car apart I came to notice that my whole car in the inside (underneath the rug, it looked all chewed up and it looked like a mouse or a rat was in my car) Well sure enough, a stupid mouse or should I now say mouses where in my car and I noticed that it was just one big hole there for the opening and that's how he went through the opening in the engine bay to the air cabin filter opening and made a nest there on the filter it self.

Happened before. A few threads where a mouse/rat has been found when cleaning the cabin air filter. Makes me thinks about looking to see if I can put a grate one the opening (if the design is the same in 06's.

Yep, it's a very easy path. Some chicken wire over the opening sounds like a good idea if there's any chance of rodents in the area.

more common than people think, my car was stored on the eastcoast over the winter a few months and mice had been living in that same cabin filter area. I have also seen threads on here with pictures of guys' in cabin filter with dead rodents on it.

and in my car they had made a little nest using that pink panther insulation that goes between drywall of your house, them rat bastards!

I heard prevention is made possible by placing a ****load of bounce dryer sheets all inside your car, your engine bay and around your wheels... I don't understand how that works, I just read it online so it must be true, lol

You have two cats. You shouldn't have any rodent problems.

I had the same problem. My son would spill and leave things in the car which attracted the little rascals. I bought a couple of mouse traps and placed peanut butter on them. "SNAP" .... problem solved.
