Passenger Power Seat Stopped Working

I've got a 2003 G35 Sedan and my driver seat power adjustments stopped working about two years ago. I had it repaired at the dealer and it cost me $1,000!!!

Now my passenger seat has gone and it's stuck in a very uncomfortable position. There's no way i'm spending that much money again. Does anyone have a suggestion on a more cost effective way to fix this. I'd even be happy to get the seat manually in the right position and not have it adjustable anymore if that were possible.

Thanks for your help!

damn it would have been cheaper to just buy a seat from another member or a junkyard than getting it repaired
there are some seats for sell in the marketplace.

did you test it at all? maybe its just the switch, I know mine was acting up, so i just took it apart, and cleaned it up.. works perfect again.

It appears to be the motor because I was able to get the seat to go back by tapping on the electric motor while engaging the switch. The same thing didn't work for the recline switch so I'm guessing there is a separate motor for the recline function. But it does seem strange that both motors would go at once.

Pulled the switch apart and that appears to be the problem. What a screwed up design. Two ball bearings and a rocker! I was able to get seat back into a comfortable position but now I need to find a replacement switch. Thanks for your help!
