Trading in now for a new G35?
Trading in now for a new G35?
Would anyone recommend against trading in my G35 Sedan auto now for a G35 Sedan 6MT? I'm thinking it would be quite costly but if it is not, I might consider doing it.
Basically I am leasing my G35 for 3.5 years and I have 3000 miles on it now. I'm considering trading it in for a 6MT. Would anyone who has done this before give me reasons not to?
Also, at the end of the lease contract term, could you trade in the car then for value on a new car? I heard this was possible.

Don't get your hopes up ... getting out of a lease early hurts. Most of the people I have talked to that have traded their G in for something else purchase their G's with VPP. (Does not hurt them as much as the rest of us.) You can find out your pay off by taking your residual value and add the total of your remaining payments.
I am leasing my G and it would cost me between 4-6K to get out. That is not worth it to me. I would advise that you wait for a couple of years and buy a AWD 6mt G35 with 300+ hp. ;-)

Do you really want a stick that bad! I too like sticks but is it worth the extra money you're going to put out. I would have loved a stick but I am going wait and see what Infiniti has in store for the future...300 hp AWD like someone just posted hmmmm sounds good to me. Now thats worth waiting for (if it happens? )

If you had a regular car loan on your auto, it would hurt.. you'd take the big hit in depreciation on your current car to get into a new one.
Since you're leasing, keep it. About the only way you can get out of a lease this early is by finding someone willing to take over payments.. meaning you'll loose whatever you've already paid. Terminating the lease early can be costly, just call your leasing company and ask if you want to find out how much. You should never enter a lease if you're not fully prepared to stick it out.
