Question about g35x
I am planning to lower my car and one of the technician that i went to told me that he would have to take the seats out of the rear in order to change the springs on the rear. Is this true?
I would like to save some bucks to do it myself if it doesn't require taking apart the rear seats. Also, does anyone know the level of difficulty on changing the rears from 1-5.
Thanks for the help!

no...to just change springs in the rear is like 1 bolt for each side..if you want to change the rear struts you can access them from behind the rear seat but removal is not needed...well i have premium package so the seats move in the rear giving access to the bolts...look for a DIY the rears are very easy..the fronts id have someone do...i wish i new how easy the rears were when i lowered my car..i would of just payed to have the fronts done

the rear can be done a lot faster then the front. There is no need to use spring compressors or anything.
you dont need to do anything to the back seats. there is a 17mm bolt and nut that holds the spring bucket. remove that and most likely use a pry bar to wedge the bucket down but watch out for the spring, it might attack u.
The strut is held up top by 2 10mm nuts. stick your head in the wheel well and you can see the 2 10mm. and then the lower part of the strut is i think a 17mm as well not sure, its. Well the whole strut thing is something you dont have to touch if you just do a spring swap. you should be done in less then 2 hours.

Btw, do you think i would need a set of camber kit if i drop it on a 350z unrevised springs?

Never removed a set of G springs, but if you don't use a spring compressor take a piece of chain and tie those springs to the hub or something and use a nut and bolt through two links to tie the chain in.

i've never used spring compressors for the rear spring design similiar to the G on any car. You use a jack to hold up the spring bucket and slowly ease it down with a prybar or something to help it. the fronts design on the other hand is a always when removing and not so much when installing a lowering spring.

loving them. i have had them on for about a year now and no issues. 5 clicks up from the softest setting and i get alot of complimants on how smooth it rides for coils. frankly ive never had a harsh ride on coil in previous cars.
for a day i set the coils on full hard. lol now that was a little to much for me.
