Hey Guys,
I just got the G back from the dealer with an A/C issue a couple weeks ago. In the meantime I have noticed a loud rattling coming from the rear left of the cabin. I have had the rear door opened up and there is nothing that I could hear/feel that would cause a rattle of this magnitude. It may be in the rear deck. Any thoughts?? Also, if it happens to be in the rear deck, any info on rear seat removal/deck access would be greatly appreciated. I really need the G Nation to come thru on this one (I have contemplated driving head on into several phone poles just to stop that horrible noise). Thanks in advance for any help.

 

In the back of the rear seats we have these cross metal bars, try tightening up those bolts. I had a really annoying noise and it turned out that those bolts were lose, made them tight and the noise went away. My rear seats recline, so all i did was bring them all the way forward and had access to the bars.

 

I have so many rattles that i'd like to drive this car into a moving bus... im OCD, and i hate **** like rattles.

 

That's weird. Aside from my strut top bushing clanking a bit, my car is rattle free.

lol man, I must be lucky just to have only 3 rattles and all of them pop up randomly.

My moms RX dash rattles so loud when driving over a brick road man.

 

I'm pretty sure I fixed my only rattle with some felt in the trunk.

 

I have:

1.The annoying pop form my drivers side door panel.
2. The sunroof which squeeks and creaks.
3. Rattle from the Hvac/radio controls area
4. Passenger seat rattles.
5. My seat rocks.
6. Drives side rear passengers door rattles.
7. Back window bolts rattle on occasion.

I did eliminate a couple of minor squeaks in the dash when I installed the GT Spec strut bar. Not what I bought the bar for but it was a welcome surprise.

 

My dash rattles right by the VIN plate, but only when it's over 70 degrees.

 

for 2. Its the Rubber Gasket around the sunroof that sweeks, lube that bish up.

Some rubber clear/conditioner should work

 

I had my rear deck make noises too and at one point it was so loud I felt like taking everything apart. I would of too, but it was winter and I didn't want to rush in the cold to only multiply the noises. Now surprisingly I don't hear it and haven't since winter.

I have this one noise coming from the front center dash somewhere and I can't pinpoint the exact spot, but it sounds like I have a live cricket inside my dash! I recorded it on my phone if anyone want's to hear it. I don't think anyone can top this annoying noise. It get's so loud to a point where you have to have the music over volume 20 to barely notice it. It's been like that since I bought the car 2 weeks after. Brought it to the dealership and they said it wasn't a safety issue so they couldn't fix it or take a look at it. Go figure...

 

My car is pretty rattle free. I do get a small rattle from the sunroof when I blast the Bose to volume 31.

 

You just lube the rubber gasket? Any pics to this?

lmao !!! i hve # 4,5,6 and pass side door rattles with music on

hell sometimes it pisses me off so bad ill punch the side of the door from the driver seat and the **** stops fast hahahaha

 

31!? I can't turn mine past 20 before it's too loud.
