this should have been asked in the little question thread that we made just for something like this ... but you had to start a new thread .. any reason why ...

2nd gen should fit. because its still a g35 (if im correct on fitment) for sure the g37 doesnt complete new suspension

I thought the 2nd gen shocks cant be used on first gens because they are a little different design.

I thought the same thing, that they are not interchangeable. Otherwise coilovers for our cars would work for 2nd Gen Sedans.

Because there are always small revisions over time that leads to incompatibility.

The 2nd gens don't even have compression rods anymore, so I'm sure the front suspension has been redesigned enough to not need them.

Ok... let's stop assuming stuff, lest we make asses out of each other...

OP, By "2nd Gen" are you talking about the 05/06 sedans or the 07+ sedans?

Oh also... as for the "random little question" thread.... yes, there is a bunch of random banter going on, that keeps the thread bumped up to the top... but there are also a number of knowledgeable individuals that are subscribed to that thread.
So if you ask a question in there, everyone who's sub'd gets an email, whereas if you make a new thread, we won't see it until we're browsing the site.
