Damn thats a lot for just some bolts! Can you find the white spacers for the middle bolts at a hardware store or are those some kind of special spacers??

^ The 6 inner plenum spacers are going to be proprietary. You can get SS bolts in the lengths given from MD info at a local hardware store. Contact MD and see if you can get just the 6 nylon spacers.

Here's the MD install guide. you'll need the following bolt set:

(11) M6 1mm x 35mm bolts
(3) M6 1mm x 55mm bolts
(4) M6 1mm x 70mm bolts
(18) M6 flat washers

A decent hardware store will have them and I don't think you'll find them at Lowe's or Home Depot. Did you get the MD gasket with the plenum spacer?

There's pics of a full Iso Thermal kit in this for sale thread that I just sold. You don't need to worry about the Aramid gasket or control valve. Worst case, you pay the $45 to get the bolt and spacers directly from MD if they don't sell the nylon spacers seperately.

There's a small D-I-Y hardware store that carries nylon spacers in all different widths and depths. Hit one of them up. AS mentioned before, Lowes and HD just doesn't really offer anything metric. Smaller, privately owned shops are the way to go on this one; you can buy the exact amount you need instead of getting a pack of 50 each.

Just be careful with the makeshift nylon spacer inside the plenum. Not saying they can't work but be carfeful during the install to ensure they stay in place between the upper and lower and that you can torque down to get the proper seal otherwise you'll end up with a vacuum leak. The MD fittings are recessed so that the metal bolt guides on the upper plenum slide into them. You don't want one of those nylon fittings floated around inside your intake.

I got a hold of one of the guys at motordyne and they sold me the white spacers for 10 bucks! I actually bought the spacer off a guy locally on craigslist. The spacer was still intalled on his upper plenum so he just gave me that and his z-tube for $60. I plan on going to home depot to get the bolts and washers. Another question, I am going to remove my throttle body from my upper and install it on the one he gave me...do I need to get a new gasket for the throttle body or will that one transfer with no problems??

You don't need to unbolt the TB unless you're replacing the upper plenum as well. If you're using his plenum as well then yes. I find it easier to remove the TB from the plenum after removing them from the car as one unit. I think it's a 5mm hex allen that fits the four bolts. There's a specific order for removal and install for the 4 bolts but no torque specs that I remember. There are crush washers so snug them down and then a quarter turn. If you need to replace the compression gasket, they are $5 at the dealership.

You can use this as a guide to remove the TB. BytheBay did a good job on this.

Yea Im going to just install his plenum on my car so i dont have to pry off the spacer in fear of messing it up. Im also assuming I need to apply gasket sealent on the spacer...right? Another thing Im worried about is tunning the car....I dont have to tune it with just a CAI, axel back exhaust and the spacer right. Im guessing I'll only have to do a tune if I replace the cats...? Oh and by the way I have an 05 sedan 5a/t.
