I knew the comartment was there b/c of friends G's but actually never looked in there. I thought I got screwed out of my first aid kit until I actually took the time to look in it....hahah

Yes, opening is on the passenger side of the arm rest.

wow I have an 03 sedan and I just checked and its there, however another first aid kit was in the trunk.

The black leatheret case velcroed in my trunk has the owners manual and other factory info in it. The first aid kit is where others have said, in the passenger side backseat armrest.
