How can you tell if springs came off 6 speed manual sedan
Hi,
I found some stock 2005 sedan springs that I hope to put my 2004 G35x. I would like to find out how can you tell if the springs came off a G35 6 speed with sport suspension? If anyone has a clue to what the difference would be, let me know.
Thanks

There's a series of colored dots painted on the springs. In the stickies above, it explains what colors indicate spring rate, which can be matched to a stock suspension or a sport suspension.
AFAIK, all manuals came with the sport suspension, so all springs with the specific colored dots that match the SS = manual G35.

Edit: Ah, post above seems to answer OP's question
I dug up my 06 oem sport springs from my sedan and the dots are:
1 orange dot and 1 green dot (together on same coil)
2 yellow dots (together on same coil) and 1 blue dot (below)
Mine came from a 5AT sport but they have the same springs as the 6MT sports from what I read.
Regardless, OP, if you're going for the sport springs they are stiffer than nonsport so it might be a good idea to upgrade your shocks as well. Why are you only moving to sedan sport springs? coupe/350z springs would give you a 0.5"/1" drop, respectively.
