I am not sure. Since don't have one in my car, I never researched much about it so I can't really comment

I'm used to clutch disk type lsds which do need the additive like in my mustang. I actually have to add the additive in a predetermined amount.

Not sure about the 'sealed' thing... but yes, the LSD's in the G are viscous, not clutched.

So Mustang... When you doing mine? I have a whole bag of shiny nickels!

Seriously, I'm pretty good at working on cars, so I can do stuff quick. All the tools are laid out and while engine oil is draining, I am filling the rear differential, or changing the air filter. Wasn't my first time doing it, so I already knew what wrench I needed and how to pump the fluid in, etc.
3.5 hours is TOO long if you wanted to get it done fast and had everything laid out.

I normally do it in about 3.5 hours when i have a friend over and we just chilling and they just watching me. No sense in rushing so i kinda drag it over to about 4 hours make sure most of the fluid is drained.

^When you say "most of the fluid is drained" are you talking about the beer out of a 6 pack?
