Headlight ?

I just recently replace 1 of the headlight bulb because it went out. Is it a good idea to replace both or just wait till the other goes out and change it then.

Thanks

The purpose of replacing them at the same time is so that you won't have to repeat the replacement process twice. Buy the bulbs and just replace one and save the other in your glove box for when the other burns out.

Are they hid? You want to change them both at the same time because hid bulbs tend to turn yellow with age. So one light will be a different color than the other.

Up to you though....it's a cosmetic thing.

With halogen bulbs, they dim with age. If one is one and they are 6 years old...replace both.

Agree.

Dont quote me on this, but I read a while back that with halogen bulbs you lose about 20% light output after about 3 years and it goes down from there.
the only time I would replace just one is if you have some cheap aftermarket bulbs that burn out every six months to a year.

I think I'm going to hold off on the other headlight, since it cost $200 bucks for the HID. If it was under $100 than I would replace both at the same time but damn, $200 for 1 bulb, that's just ridiculous.

Hey, that's what it cost at the Infiniti dealer. I even call the local Nissan and it's about the same price. Remeber man, it's HID bulb not a regular one.

Yea, other places sell bulbs too you know

All you need to find is a HID-D2R bulb, 4.5k is the Stock Temperature, you can pick what ever you want. 5k gets you the best light output, 6k has a hint of blue for looks.

Here you go, $12.50 for a pair of bulbs from DDM Tuning with a 1 year warranty. Others on here have them and have not had problems.

^ hehe

I am running the DDM bulbs my self, They were cheap enough to say what the heck, still running great, and a few people here have been running them for over a year.

I feel bad for putting cheap shiz in my car but it works and works well.

Completely agree, but for the price I paid for ballast and bulbs that have been working great for about a year I can't complain at all.
