Iso thermal or basic Plenum Spacer
Hi
I am about to buy the plenum spacer and not sure if i should go with basic or iso thermal.
I live in Salt Lake City, Utah and the winter here is cold
This is my daily driver so I will be driving it in snow as well.
Are the installs a lot different with basic and iso thermal.
BTW
What are the best tires I can get for my G35 Sedan for WINTER.
I have 17 inch rims on it and im not sure what the tire size is at this moment.
Thanks for help
Im so excited to be putting on a middy tomorrow, cant wait.

I believe the 1/2 makes more peak power, but less under the curve.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Since you live in a cold climate make sure you get the copper adapter for the throttle body as well. That would be the copper/iso spacer from Motordyne. It will allow you to heat the TB so it doesn't freeze in the winter. The iso thermal gasket helps keep your plenum cooler in the heat which is a good idea as well.
I am looking to get the Motordyne spacer for my 2006 G35x. I live in northern NJ so I need the copper one. I had a question. Do you still install the coolant control valve when you install the throttle body heater??? Does it even come with the kit? I don't see it in the picture for any of the copper kits.
Thanks in advance.

is there a write-up for this install..? im thinking of ordering one as well,i noticed Z1 has the spacers on sale for 125 or 150 as of monday this week...any opinions on Z1's spacer..?

Did you remove the gasket or just leave it the way it was. I'm afraid it will be melted by the hot engine bay.
As for the TB heater, I thought the kit came with a small valve to turn the coolant on and off? Down here in South Texas, it doesn't get that cold anyway.
