Sticky Pedal
Sticky Pedal
Hey all,
I've had my '05 6MT Sedan for a little over a year now. I got it with 16,000 miles and now it has about 29,000 miles. I've been driving a manual car since the day I got my license, been to racing school, had track days (different car) etc. So I think it's safe to say I'm decent at driving a manual transmission car.
Today I was driving and for the first time, the clutch pedal started to get a little sticky, at the top 1/3 of it's travel (closest to resting, disengaged). It would drop real easy and then come back like there was glue or gum stuck to it. Does anyone know if this is my clutch going?? I don't see any reason why it would be, I would think these clutches should last more than 28,000 miles...
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Also, does anyone get a weird chatter when in 3rd gear around 2k RPM when you give the car full throttle? It sounds like someone threw rocks into a blender or something--for about a second, and then it smooths out.
I just had the car tested for oil consumption, it checked out fine, I would imagine if there was anything else wrong with the car the stealership would've notified me.
Thanks again.
