I also had both front compression rods replaced at the same time. The mechanic also changed my boot on the driver side as he ripped it while doing the coils. This morning I got a creaking noise similar to the compression rod noise when I was making a turn into the parking lot in the morning. I could then replicate it by just making a slight right turn again. Suggestions on what to check?

I have a creak with my BC coils also. But mine have about 20K on them so it may not be the same thing.

it seems like mine creaks when I turn also. I notice it the most when i am in the garage of my apartment (probably because it is echoing) it seems like it only happens at slow speeds though.
Well it warmed up a bit here and no creak. Im starting to think one of my bushings are out of whack

I would search, I believe this was a common reported problem with bc coils about a year or so ago.

I've had creaking and rattling on my BC coils since day one, I bought them new. Got the install checked out by a mechanic I trust and he said everything was right. It's a budget coilover so it probably just comes with the territory. I've learned to deal with it.

Id say try the bushings first.

try the strut/shock towers, make sure everything is tight. you may need to replace the tower bushings.
Yeah ill take it back to the mechanic to check the bushings. Logical since now its warm no sound but when it was in the 40s creaking that was worse when i had bad comp rods
