Fyi tim's car is the quickest sedan I've seen according to official 1/4 mile numbers. He is trapping over 120mph which means anything other than a dead stop it will give a GTR and a z06 a very hard time. He does have a 12.3 with 2.3 60ft. His car is capable of mid 11s with drag radials and some practice. Remember ET does not make the fast or slow, the trap speed always tells the true story about how fast a car really is. ET is all driver....

Lets be clear, in drag racing the lower ET wins, regardless of trap speed. 1/4 racing is the universal yard stick for acceleration performance. Their is no "roll on" racing league I am aware of What a car is "capable" of is not reality, its theoretical. I feel I have a mid 11 capable ride do to my 3-4 mis shift on my 12.0 run, but I am a 12 sec ride. I plan to go back and try again for a little better time...

With everything else being equal (traction, weight, driver ability, etc) the higher HP car would win. Put performance has many factors... Ive chosen to stuff a 295 R888 under the rear of my sedan so it can launch like a bat out of heck, and it does. I can put the power down out the hole and in just about any gear, throttle/traction modulation is easy with a good sticky tire. More often most people forgo a sticky tire FTL, and spend their car dollars on other things. A nice sound system is great, but it makes you slower. Power is great, but if you cant put it down its useless.

My wheels and tires are for sale

Im not trying to hate, just sticking to what I see as the "facts".

Mad props to Tim, his car is awesome looking, and fast too. Im sure his time ET in the last 1/8 of the 1/4 is faster than mine. If he was close to my area I would let him use my R888s, and he would blow my time away. I think on slicks he could perhaps see a 10... perhaps...

Well the whole discussion is about the fastest sedan and not the fastest driver. So again fastest sedan is the sedan that traps the most MPH.... I don't know what is so complicated about that.... Lower ET always wins but higher MPH is the faster car...

Honestly I think tim could get like high 10's lol. He has no traction what so ever with the tires he has. On top of that all that the added weight. I think he is at like 3800lbs if i remember correctly. If he only threw on some radials...

Vlad's car is hands down faster down the 1/4 than any other sedan I know of, that's easy, it's a purpose built 1/4 car.

I would be happy to see how he would do on a road course with me. My car is quick, very quick but driver skill and track type/layout dictate the best at that time. I know a guy with a boosted G20 that's a full up time attack car. It only makes ~300whp but on one of the small, tight tracks out here, I run away in the straight and he catches up fast.

I think my car is a fun @ss street car. It has a full interior, audio, bling and still goes like stig. It's not the best at anything but sure is fun.
