Manual Mode

When I drive my g35 around I think It drives a lot better in mm . As soon as I get a clear rode I hit gas. When you really hit the gas and shift I think thats when you really get the feeling of the car.

Re: Manual Mode

I only tried it a couple of times and didn't like MM. It seems the gears are slow to react. I don't think it comes close to feel as a real manual. Perhaps it needs getting use to.

Re: Manual Mode

Perhaps you need a grounding kit grounded to the tranny and
TCU. Your shift will be soooo much better!

03 5AT Sedan, sunroof, splashguards, HKS muffler,
14 wire Grounding kit, Z Duct, Stillen HF/AB
Underbody rear diffusers, Drilled alum pedals,
Stillen sway bars S/H. Sport Tuned Suspension

EXACTLY, works so much better and shifts alot faster, i know exactly when to shift now to get into the gear with no delay or hesitation, right above redline and it just pops in!

Re: Manual Mode

What is a gounding kit, and why does it make MM shifting so much better. As well as would this work on a G35x ?

Re: Manual Mode

Yup your right, that's why i ALWAYS drive in MM mode, not once will you ever see me not driving it, rain/snow or w/e, i love the feeling of a manual (Wish i had one) and im trying to get a manual coupe but didnt really work out, so in 2 more years i will def. have a stick car, i love being in control of the car!! Keep driving it that way, its more fun =)
