Yesterday i was helping out Baseball 23 removing some things from his car while i had it up in the air we decided to remove the coupe lip and try it on my 03.5 sedan with nismo .

well to my surprise it fits , i was shocked despite all the speculations ive read here .

It does fit , the oem coupe lip has 4 bolts that need to be drilled the fender , 2 on the outer ends and two on the inner middle.
i was very happy to see it fit. To my knowledge only the 05-06 oem sedan lip fit.

the ends line up and the sides do too .

i would say fitment is about 95% dead on .

My hunt begins for a coupe lip again,

unfortunatly no cause i had to hurry before we got cought in the rain i was installing his suspension out side my crib .

But Marcus , no joke it was amazing i could not belive my eyes.

only thing that sucks is that you have to drill into the nismo bumper just like when you install the nismo rear apron on the sedan it too has the bolts that hold it in place.

 

This is great news for those running the Nismo bumper.

 

the lip i tried on by the way was a real OEM coupe lip off a 2006 coupe

im in the market now for a lip , ill post some pics once i get this done

 

i tried a coupe lip, did not fit... totally different bend in the front, the length was pretty much dead on though.

 

^ that can be resolved with a heat gun
