+1... 2nd gen is far more aggressive. However, I agree with gmah, there wasnt enough about the 07 to make me want to upgrade - but if I were deciding from scratch it would be the 07 without a doubt.

BTW, much of the 07 peppiness is due to the 3.692 fd - I realized that the first time I drove it and knew I had to get that ring & pinion for my 04... made the snappiness very similar to the 07.

for the biggest bang for the buck id say an 06. with the difference in cash you could make the 06 look way better than an 07. but an 07 is even classier, when its lightly modded it seriously looks sexy.

right now cars are selling so cheap. that i wish i would have waited at times lol.
if you have the cash, i would go for an 07, at least you wont look so outdated.

I got mine at Performance Nissan http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=5568

West Covina Nissan had them too...

Install will cost about the same as the gears (I had Quaife differential installed at same time)...

If you can source the entire pumpkin from an 07+ sedan, G367 or 370Z it will be cheaper - there is a DIY thread in the tech section.

07. . .drop it, get the sport bumper, put some clean new wheels on it, and you have a winner. . .though, i love my 05 and even now would not consider trading it in for a newer model even if i had the money...its like giving away my first born child.

I previously owned an 03.5 Sedan and now have an 07. If the 06 came with the vq35 HR I would tell you to consider it, but the motor alone is worth making the jump to an 07.

If I could, I'd want a g37 sedan... I really want to know how the extra 22 HP feels.

I'm an 06 man. I just think the lines of the car are timeless. I bought my 06 in October of 06. I could have bought either one but chose the 06 because the lines are cleaner to me.

i have an 05 and had the chance to buy an 07 with the difference of 100$ on monthly instalments.

the 1st gen looks more aggresive more JDM and has a sexier a$$.
but the 07 has a better engine, i have friends who reached 300whp N/A with simple bolt on's. the 07 has better feautres and the interior is better on so many levals.

if you have an 06 and decide to upgrade 07 is not worth it.
but since your starting from scratch i say go for the 07 and dont even consider the 06

Couldn't agree with you more, I do love the HR and the sexier front end but if i were to trade mine in it would have to be the 37.

I bought my 06 a year ago and had the chance to get an 07. The price difference was a whopping $10K. I drove both and honestly didnt feel too much of a difference in power. I also think the 06 rear is nicer and the pop up nav is awesome.
