does the 03 g35 sedan and 04 coupe have smae tranny
i want to know if the sedan and coupe have the same tranny i have AT in my sedan and i found a used AT from a coupe are they the same. its cheap 150.00 with 40k miles
depends on the manufacturing date of the 04...
as long as its not a 2004.5 then it is the same
2004.5 transmissions shift in MM whenever you shift where the 2003-2004 is an upper gear limiting shift. 2004.5 will rev match and 2003 will not.
If you figure that out you might be ok.
Realize, after you install it you will need to go to the dealer to have them FLASH the ROM on the TCM to ensure that it is reset and full function of the transmission. Without the reset you most likely will have erratic and improper function.
