Junkyard..

Anyone ever been to a junk yard with g35s.. I was just wondering sounds like a cheap way to get parts. For example if a car was hit from behind and totaled front bumper, grill, headlights and all that still perfect you can get for cheap? Or take out any interior things like seats or floor matts or maybe get some wheels off the car.. Was just curious if anyone done with with success.. I never have and not sure how it works.

good luck. most places don't have parts...they buy them and part them out. still enough value in just piecing it out

They are super rare. Call around you might find one, but it's going to be very hard to find.

Best way to find parts if you're looking is;

http://car-part.com/

it will find everything of value in as close as you select.

Why so rare? Do g35s not get totaled? Lol.. Where do they go when they get wrecked?

They go to junkyards.

But the pick-a-part yards usually don't have the newer cars. The new stuff usually goes to yards which strip the parts off and list them on sites like www.car-part.com

Finding a newer 2000s car at a pick a part is rare in my area. Those are the cheap yards. The good yards cost more, and won't let you walk around.

theres a place in Greenville where I lived that had an 05/06 coupe on a trailer out front that was totalled from the back and parts of the front, I went by to see if I could get the Rays and seats and at the time midpipe, but there was a sign on the door that specifically said they dont sell parts. so I'm assuming its the case tollbooth said, and that there's still value in not only parting them out but selling them as salvage cars

Tried searching many times, with no luck.

I love junkyards too.

You're unlikely to find one.

I do have one place you might want to look. PM if interested.

Floor Mats???? IN a car at a junk yard???? In my years of junk yard digging I have found VERY few vehicles with floor mats in them. VERY FEW... Between 8 or so Tacoma's I was able to find one tan and one brown floor mat.
