I picked up my '05 G35x today and was surprised to see that it had '04 style 5-spoke rims on it. Is this right, or has my dealer pulled a switcheroo on me? Can anyone on the west coast confirm that the new rims haven't yet been put into production on x-model sedans?

 

04 X has 6 spoke rims...

Sorry, that's what I meant -- 6 spoke. In any case, they're definitely not the new style rims that have been shown in all of the promo pics at infinitinews

The rims on the g35 sedan in the brochure and at infiniti.com are shown with the 19" rims that are on the sport model. The rims that are on your g35x are the same as the 04 model because they havent changed. only the 19" feature that new look. the g35x doesnt have an option to get those rims in the images shown.
