overlay, need feedback.. pic inside

so i was talking to andy (bluebat) and he was telling me i should go satin black as an overlay. i know Lakeshore is a hard color to be messing with. well my girl PS the satin black and it wasnt that great.. looked super black and didnt go well.. we tried a lighter shade of black.. just regular black.. it almost looks like CF. so i needed some feedback on your thoughts

I don't care for it on LS. If you like it though, go for it! You should consider what other black accents you plan on doing to the exterior, maybe headlights, grill and tint (can't tell if you have tint in your pic).

LS is one of the only colors I don't like a black roof on.

And even if you were to go with a black roof, my standard response applies: "Paint>Vinyl"

My wife was looking over my shoulder and asked if this was my car. She thought I had, in her words, "chopped my roof off and replaced it with a black one." She wanted to know how much money I had spent.

Well, i think it looks kind of cool. I might be the only one but our color car is hard to play around w/ when it comes to that.

It does kind of clash with the shiny-ness of the sunroof. If you had no sunroof it would look a lot nicer.

Also, you are extremely tall. Your GF must be even taller if she was standing over your shoulder.

the clashing of shinyness doesnt bother me. it should roughly be like that.. which is why satin black was a no.. it looked like a solid black.

well i wanted a black overlay, not satin black, something slightly less intense.. as it shows there something more like a flat black, and if not just a regular black.
