Installing Driver Side Battery Cover on 2004 sedan-Need help

Installing Driver Side Battery Cover on 2004 sedan-Need help

For the people who have installed a battery cover on the driver side, what do I have to do to the cover to make it fit? It sticks up a little high on the left side of it..please help ! thanks !

I cut right behind the first line, but i have a coupe. I think they are the same size. Use a razor blade and make like three deep cuts then bend it and it should snap cleanly.

what do you mean right behind the first line? where is the line?

I actually trimmed mine outside the lip you see along the bottom left in pic 1. That allowed me to install the trim over the lip for a more secure fit. I should take pics, I guess, maybe I'll do that later this morning.

That's a damn good idea Wayne. I'm assuming it fit fine after the trim? I like the idea of the trim holding the cover in place.
