Anyone ever used Energy Suspension Spring Isolators on Front of Sedan?

Hello all,

I have been doing some searching/reading on the forum and finally decided to register and ask a few questions.

I have a 2005 G35 Sedan 6MT with Sport Package. The tires that came on the car are larger than stock - 235/50/18 - eating up a little of the gap. I just purchased a set of Eibach Pro-Kits for a sedan in hopes to have about a 1" drop, smoother overall ride and better handling, however, after doing some reading I see a number of people have had issues with the Pro-Kits sagging to about 1.5". I'm also considering buying some D-specs or the regular Tokico Blues to smooth out the ride, but am not sure how much of a difference these will make as my shocks are in good shape at about 35k mi.

So after about a week of searching the forum and reading, I was hoping someone with a little more experience could jump in and offer an opinion.

1) Has anyone used Energy Spring Isolators to raise the front of the car? I was thinking if the Pro-Kits are too low I can use these to raise the car about .5" and get near my 1" desired drop, but have only seen threads where people use them to even out the rears.

2) With about a 1" drop with the Pro-Kit, will the D-specs or Blues be better one way or the other considering I am concerned with a smoother ride over vastly improving handling (i.e. stiffer/firmer not better, smoother better), might I stick with stock and be happy ?

Thanks for all help and opinions in advance.

Ryan

If I were you I would return the springs and buy used z springs. Guaranteed 1 inch drop for less money.

If you are going to buy springs and struts, I would just buy coilovers and be done with it.
