05' "G" Steering twich problem??

Hey guys new here from Nico. Just bought my 2nd "G" a 05' 4-door model. Im having issues with the steering?? The car came with new smaller tires than stock, cant remember the size 245/40's?? But theres something wrong with the way it feels at speed 70-80mph. The car will twich or almost jump a lane like a F1 race car with a mm or 2 movement in the wheel, so like on windy days you need to keep a good grip on the wheel, and it seems to be worst to the right and less twichy to the other side. Also if the road is uneven it will try and jump a lane too. The front lip or air-dam is missing..knocked off when we got it, Im sure thats not helping matters but it just seems that the rear-end wants to jump out all of the time?? Any ideas? thanks Jet

Might be your alignment, has it had one lately that you know of? If that's good, then take a look at your compression rods and lower control arms. I've got an 05 as well and have never experienced what you are describing.

Is it possible your new G was in a wreck at some point in time?

Yes on the toe, and I have staggered rims/tires so I pull tires off the rims and swap left to right.

Well let me restate this. I retested the steering on the way home lastnight on a long fresh streach of hwy, very flat very smooth. I dont feel like there is anything wrong (wrecked) with it and I was exagerating when I said it will jump in the next lane. My 04' model was great, it cornered drove very well. This car turns like a F1 race car..no ****. Its RASOR sharp steering. Like oversteer. So on the way home last night the car tracked very straight, no hands on the wheel, arrow straight. Feels maybe like the sway bar is a little tighter on the right side..it turns a little quicker to the left. OK..summary I guess what Iam saying is, THIS THING F*#KING TURNS LIKE A F1 CAR.. and thats no sh*t. Its not BAD oversteer Its just fast reacting smooth steering. I am truly impressed. Also I guess the air under the car (on windy days) is upseting the feel of the car due to the front air dam being snapped off. It just makes it jumpy. Any way Im very impressed and thanks for your help. Jet
