Can someone take a picture of a their stock trunk for me?

Just bought a used 03 G35 Sedan, but it did not have the logo'd mat. Instead all it has is a black mat, cutoff over the spare tire, and the spare tire. But because of the spare tire well, the middle of the trunk dips in.

Is the middle of the trunk supposed to dip in like that, or am I missing something?

Mine does not have a logo mat, just solid black. However underneath the mat, there is a piece of pressboard that rests on styrofoam filler pieces and covers the spare tire. This allows the mat to appear nice and smooth, without dipping into your spare area. Will try to get pics tomorrow.

Sounds like you're missing the cone in the center

^Your coupey is not the same as my sedan-y.

I've got an 03 sedan, yours should be the same (if not similar)

If there's no pic posted up by 8 hours from now, I'll get you a picture. haha.

Off the top of my head, I don't think it's supposed to dip down, but I vaguely remember mine doing that. I also vaguely remember removing something, which I'll look at tomorrow morning.

The board is there when you have a full sized spare.

Negative, Ghostrider. Stocky stocky.

Of course, Mine's a 2003.0 (doggy, baby!) so the trunk configuration may have changed a dozen times to 2003.5 (LOL).

I like yours better, Screensavers

Thanks for the pictures everyone!

I have the pressboard tire cover piece. What I don't have is the black surrounding piece. Anyone know what that is called?

05 and 06 sedans here with the same layout (full spare). Service manual calls the black (styrofoam) piece a "Luggage floor board"
