Rims??

Looking to buy rims for my G. Maybe going for 19s. However, I would like to get everyones opinion on which way to go. I'm thinking chrome would look good with white, but I like the gun metal look too.

I've been looking at the rides section, and through car domain but there aren't too many that catch my eye. Anyways, let me know what you all think.

Re: Rims??

hum..... i am selling my 19" VOLK PROGRESSIVE SPOKES....these are really rare. They just came out I want to get rid of them and get black ones cause my car is black. I went to the sema show and saw black PRogressive spokes and i decided i want those instead.

Click here for more info on my rims

Re: Rims??

It's basically what you prefer.Chrome are a bit heavier. Mine are polish, have that chromie look, lighter than chromes but, they are a pain in the a$$ to clean. Gunmetal will look clean on your IP, that was my first choice but, I'd had gunmetal wheels on my old rides.

Re: Rims??

Whoa, Ed... Selling your Volks already?!?! Is it better for you to sell them instead of changing the color yourself, i.e. powder coating or something? Seems like you just got those rims not that long ago.

Re: Rims??

Go to the wheel forum and check out the rides there as well. The only problem is the sedans are not well represented there. With a white G, gold rims look good as well as chrome. I'm not a big fan of gold wheels, but I have to admit they look good on white G's. Just promise not to get spinners!
