hey harvey !!!!!! im not young and im slammed and cant take the wife and my daughter out anymore in my car well for the last 5 months so i went out and bought a nice SUV family car so we wont have the problems anymore about taking my car out

For those who roll dumped for DD, more power to ya!
at least you tried rolling slammed ... it is super hard even with 2wd :-/ but i deal with all the scraping and stuff, you get use to all the different noises LOL

raise you car back up to were its right on top of the tire with barley any tire tucking and you will be set ..

like Marcus said lets see some pictures of it dumped cause i know you love taking pictures of the car next to the driveway

I can't do lowered anymore either. When i was younger, i did the slammed thing, and it does has it's shortfalls.

Now....i just don't want to deal with it. I do look at my car and think it would look good dropped a bit, but think after driving it I'd get sick of it. This winter, there were times when plowing through deep snow that I wish the car was higher.

To each his own...my time with lowering my daily drivers is over.

I'm old and am really happy with how the car drives and looks being lowered. The good thing about coils is I can raise it anytime I feel like it.

this is the lowest i got it so far that it doesnt hit at all. only if i happend to hit a dam crater. but whos car isnt at that point.
i would love to be lower, but the banging is just annoying and i feel like im braking my baby every time it hits.

here is a pic of the ride height I was at before I made adjustments today. Would hit my A-arms on bumps and scrapped on dips, though dampening was a 20 clicks from full stiff (30 way adj). This was NOT happening.

I am raised it 20mm and I am gtg now.

The hitting is the a-arm/camber arm hitting the strut tower. I have 350evo camber arms and when I go low it hits. Not sure about spl or others. I did get new swift spring up front 13k so WHEN I get my wheels I will lower as far as I had it before and see if the stiffer spring helps out.

One way is to make a couple of holes where it hits. Royal t did on his 350z. But us guys that live where it rains alot can't have that. I wonder if the spl ones help. I had a chance to do a group buy but didn't want to spend 500 on camber arms when I have some already

Na it's fine, all the LS guys near me cut holes so the arms can clear.

You either get a flap of rubber and rivet it on there or you put a tonne of packing tape on it so it has give but doesn't allow for it to hit.
