Am I missing something here???

Popped the hood today just to check things out (only had the car for a week & never looked to in depth and this extra piece of plastic was just sort of hanging off next to the "power duct"

pictures are sideways. sorry about that. I know on the 2nd picture its missing two screws to hold it in, but im more focused on the first one looks like it could be missing something

In the first pic, nothing really screws in there. If you get the pop charger with heat shield, it can be used as an extra mounting place for the L-bracket holding the heat shield.

In the second pic, looks like you need the plastic push pins to hold the "power duct" thingy in place.

Yup! I had the same thing with mine. Contacted Sewell to ask them what I needed and what went in that empty spot int he back. He said

"Sure! The part number for the fasteners you need is 01553-09321. I didnt show that anything went inside the hole in the picture you showed me, in any of our parts diagrams, so I went into the shop to check a couple of the sedans we are working on currently and in fact nothing was in the hole in either of those cars either, so you're good to go there.
