Less chance of messing up. I have never done it myself but I have VW friends who have used that ^ and also friends who have used baseball bats.

 

It's really easy to use and as long as you take your time you will get great results. I used this one to roll my rears and am really happy with the results.

 

This is the tool Shops use around here to properly roll fenders.... No cutting requires for the must part... Wonder if it can be rented from the local parts store?

 

few of us in here talked about this a while ago and bought the fender finisher from eastwood. IMO worth the money and WORKED GREAT !!!! they are used mostly for "pinching only" not really used for rolling the rears tho ...

my fronts are so flat and i also pulled them a few mm as well and came out nice

also your best bet for the cheapest price would be thru amazon. i got mine for like 35 shipped IIRC and they shipped fast.

 

I own the finisher and the roller. Most of us that do fender rolls and pinch fenders use these from eastwood.
