mold the 03-04 oem bumper with a nismo, or stillen, or get the jdm shorty.

that would be sick, then all the 03-06 could have the bumper with the lip already on there.

A jdm Shorty replica would be sweet! I'm in need of replacing my rear, and I would definitely pick up a jdm shorty if it was an option. Then...maybe...can put on a Wald rear lip without modding.

Although the JDM one looks nice, some people may refrain from buying it because as Maracus said you'd have to remove the absorber. It is a possibility that it can conflict with insurance policies. It's something that would have to be looked into.

As for it being poly, it's really pointless. I'm slammed right now with the OEM rear and it gets nowhere near to scraping the ground. Only once with an extremely steep hill while angling. It would drive the cost up and turn people away.

As for a design, I'd personally want something that can hang a tad lower to match aftermarket side skirts. Something simple and clean that still gives it a non-OEM look.

how much price difference are we looking at between a fiberglass and a poly? Ive had bad experiences with fiberglass, and the touch up work is a pain in the a** to deal with come winter when theres snow banks to back out and what not. But its up to the majority, as long as fiberglass comes in really cheap.

Not sure if you noticed but a 03-04 with molded nismo = OEM 05-06 bumper, factory did that already.

Its not as strong or sexy as a 03-04 with a lip but its been done.

Yes, I've been considering doing the 05 Bumper swap but so far people have wanted to much for them. The 05 is little less edgy than I was imagining the 04 with molded nismo.

I actually had mine for sale for about 3 weeks for a VERY fair price for the condition.

I dont know what you consider too much, refurbs go around 200 bucks plus paint, or used is usually between 200-300.

Plus shipping + Mud guards = too much for a vanity buy, to me the 05 bumper is better than the 04 but not that much. I'll probably go with a nismo rep lip if there isn't anything new by the time I buy.
