^ yea i used to have 5% in the back and 20% front 2 windows, made the front 2 windows looked way too light so i got the front 5% to match the rear and looks much better

Thats why I had 35% front and 2 layers of 20% in the rear. Nobody could see anything from the back windows. lol

Might as well do the samething with this one.

1. Stop referring to it as TINTS it is a TINT. Not plural.

2. "but its not as dark as you think only probaly for like a week .. and your eyes will get use to it" Go ask your optometrist how bad it is to let your eyes adjust for that kind of focus in low light. He will tell you you're going to need glasses in the next year from your destroying the dilation in your eyes. But being blind is cool these days no?

3. It looks tacky as ****, paint them black and write off your car next time.

So whats a safe %age for driving around at night.

Is 50% all around a good safe tint level?

The tint laws in my state are as follows:

The front windshield can only have tint on the first top 5 inches of glass with a solid tint.
If you use a fading in tint the top 2.5" can be 5% and the remaining 2.5" can be 25% or lighter.
A cars front side windows can't be darker then 50%.
A cars rear windows including the rear windshield can not be darker then 35% and 70% infront of the 3rd brake light.

So will 50% help keep the car cool during the day and still be easy to drive at night?
Does the car get hot with 50% tint in the summer?

I have 20% and its good, though if there are no lights around the area I cant see anything backing up lol

A guy at my school (University of Miami) had that tint job done (double 5's and pretty dark windshield) on his black g35...5 months later his car had no tint whatsoever. ***Tickets*** I think the front windshield did him in because i've never had a problem with my 5's all around.

I have 20% all the way around with no tent on the windshield and it's kind of hard to see in the residential areas at night. I would never recommend anything darker than 35% on the windshield.

A good friend of mine had 20% mirror all the way around with %5 limo on top of that, then he tinted his windshield 35%. At night you could pretty much only see other cars headlights, it was way too much. Dangerous.

He had the tint for about a year before he got a ticket and had to strip it ALL off. Where I'm from you're allowed 35% on the fronts, 20% on the rears, and nothing on the windshield.

i have 20% all round on my coupe none on the windshield and sometimes its hard to see at night if there are no lights

when i bought my sedan it had 35% and i can see so much better at night.
