Going to be a fun summer...lots of new goodies! :D
Im probably going to run without tint for a while, Ill see how I like it
Pros - looks better than stock when done right
- adds a bit of uniqueness to the car (Compared to most G's on the road, not on this forum lol)
Cons - Prone to fade
- looks ****ty when done badly
- can get a ticket for it (not too worried about that one)
Ideally I would want to get a pair of 05/06 tails and paint them GTR style, but thats not even close to in the budget right now

^I had a shop paint the entire emblem IP at the same time some other work was being done on the car, and then went back and carefully masked it off, sanded the outside parts, prepped and painted with the same matte black I did the grill in.
Masking all that is a pain in the butt though. I did it first with 1/4in pinstriping tape and then went over again with "frog" tape.

Oh...If you were to do it again, would you mask off the inside to start with so that you you didnt have to paint it after? I am thinking that might be easier since the inside is already black
Update!
Hey so I finally finished exams
So far I have done the red line removal from the reverse lights and have painted my grill. Should be hitting the paint shop some time next week hopefully
Also, car as it stands now

Are you talking about the tint vinyls? I had a bad experience with them as I had no prior experience. They creased everywhere because are taillights are so curvy. Youd have to be really skilled with a heat gun and be able to shrink the vinyl perfectly to make vinyls work properly
Just dropped off the car at the paint shop. Should be done by friday. The work being done is
-Repairing the door because of when I backed up with the door open
-Repaiting dents in the fender
-Fitting the bumper
-Fixing the hood so it opens and sits properly (Bad hood hinges caused it to rub against the fender when opening, and it was crooked when closed)
-Painting bumper, fender, door and emblem IP
-Painting back emblem gloss black
While it is in the shop, I will be tinting the taillights as well as my clear sidemarkers. Guess I should start soon

Nice list!
One recommendation though, ditch the nightshades idea. The stuff is hard to work with/get even, and even if you do it's not glossy, and if you clear coat... well...
Point is, if you take them to a shop that's used to smoking lenses with reduced black and clear coat, the results will be much much better, and very professional looking.
Trust me, I've seen both in person, and even when the VHT is done right, it still doesn't look nearly as good.
But yeah, sounds like you have a great summer ahead of you!
In for updates!
