Best locking lug nuts????

Just purchased a new set of wheels and want to make sure they stay put..

Any recommendations on a good set of locking lug nuts would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

If you find a good set you should get them all locking

Mcgard Splines or Gorilla lug nuts. Im running the splines in black with 2 sets of locks on each wheel.

no locking nut will ever make sure they stay put. You can only slow them down.

putting all locking lugs is not a good thing.

I have a set of mcgard spline lugs.

I have 20 locking lugs and it's fine. If I ever lose the key, that won't be fun.

That's right! All 20 lock nuts will only slow them down but they will have a hard time getting them off your car.

One of my friends almost had his wheels stolen, but they couldnt get the last locking lug nut off, so they just gave up and ran. Lucky eh?

I currently have the OEM lugs, looking to add a little more protection, I am sure those are more redily available... (lots of people have the lug key).

just noticed youre also from chicago. Now i can understand why you want the extra protection are u in the city of burbs? do u ever go to CHicagoZ meets?

Honestly, if someone is a pro and really wants your wheels, they will have them. Otherwise im sure your standard locks are fine....

Yeeeaah, I live in "West Town".. I have never been to a ChicagoZ meet but I did register with the site, so I do periodically get the emails..
My buddy has a pretty sweet 86' 300Z, we have been meaning to make it out at some time but keep slacking...

True statment on the wheels, I am just paranoid! haha...
Have not put them on yet, and most likely will not until I figure out my plan on the lug locks... I mean seriously a theif will steal whatever they can in order to make a quick buck.. My Aunt got her Honda Fit wheels stolen a coupld months back.... I park outside on the regular too....

u can try all locks like others have said. best thing if you are REALLY paranoid... get all locking lugs + motion sensor alarm (i think thats what its called) in the end, if the person really wants your wheels.... he will more than likely get them

Ended up buying the Gorilla Automotive 61621 Acorn Guard Locks, seem like a nice option because they are protected by a free spinning sleeve...

^ let me know where you usually park. I will try to steal your wheels...as a test. If I succeed, can i keep them? I can always use some spares
